Enjoy the summer and take a break from daily life by exploring the most beautiful beaches in Naples.
We recommend beaches that are easily accessible by public transport, perfect for relaxing days by the sea. Here’s our selection of the city’s top beaches!
Regarded as Italy’s most beautiful marine protected area, the Gaiola Underwater Park is named after the two villas connected by a pier.
Access is by reservation only, and the park can be reached by sea or land (Bus 140). Visits are organized in morning and afternoon slots, bookable directly through the official website of the protected area.
To reach the scenic Baia delle Rocce Verdi by public transport, take Bus 140 to the Rione Primavera stop in Posillipo.
Access to the bay is private, but visitors can enter through the resort, which offers a pool and direct access to the sea. Kayak rentals are also available at affordable prices, allowing you to fully enjoy the natural beauty of the area.
The Scoglione in Marechiaro is one of Naples’ most picturesque coastal spots: a long tuff rock where you can relax on a towel or rent sunbeds from nearby kiosks.
To reach it, take Bus 140 to the Rione Primavera stop, then board a small boat for a short ride to the rock for just a few euros.
Lido delle Monache is the beach closest to our accommodations, easily reachable by Bus 140, getting off at Via Posillipo, Palazzo Donn’Anna.
It is a small, quiet public beach, where you can also rent kayaks to enjoy a unique experience on the waters of Naples.
